My name is Tiefe Lieblich Dunkelheit. It means deep lovely darkness. I am 20 years of age. I was born März, 14, 1896. In a town called Stuttgart. I am all ways curious of what is going on around me. I like to ride horses and read. I have an arranged marrige to a man i truly love. I suppose I am very lucky. We will be wed as soon as he comes home from the war. His name is Attraktiv Heftige Hengst which means handsome fierce stallion. He too was born and raised in Stuttgart Germany. We have known each other since we were both young children. Now he has decided to go into the war that has just broken out. I have decided to join him and be a nurse. My parents dont know that I am going and would strap me down to stop me from going. I have told them I am going to live in a city to far away for them to visit me. I am very afraid of the war because of all the countries in it. I am not afraid to serve my country though. I saw this in a housing building. They must have gotten this from the Austrians. I am very angry with the Serbian people they shouldnt have killed the archduke or his wife.

Germany then declaired war against France.
Great Brittin and Russia are also allied to Serbia so they have also declaired war against us.
That is why Germany is in this war.
I have heard a captain talking to our head nurse. He told her that the troops are planing to carry out the Schlieffen plan. He wanted her to bring all the nurses she could and they would be off tomarrow. My eyes were wide with shock. We were going to the frount line. my heart thumped loudly. Our head nurse called us all together. She explained that the plan was to beat the French before they could comprehend what was going on. Then come back to Germany and beat the Russians. This is the map she showed us.

The woman is tending to the injured man and looking of to the distance as if looking for help. This poster shows that anyone and everyone can help in the war even women.
The Russians have exited the war. Yet, The United States of America has entered. Why do they have to stick their noses into every thing that goes on. This war has hardly a thing to do with them. They must think that they are better than everyones home. They seem to be taking The Allies side. So unfair they have all the big countries on their side. im afraid to say we are not going to win the war.
We have been treated unfairly. The treaty requires us to reduce our army. I don't see why. If we are attacked by another country we won't have a way to defend ourselves. Also they think we are to blame for the war. No, we are not. Nobody is to blame. We took sides just like all the other countries. We are allies with Austria Hungry so we helped them in the war just like France helped out Serbia. I can't stand France they are so not smart. We are all to blame for the war. It's not like we just blew everybody up with out a reason. We went to war just like they did. I hate France.
